Welcome to the Knitters of the North (KOTN)

The Knitters of the North (KOTN) Guild is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities for members and the interested public and to encouraging, coordinating, and increasing opportunities for charitable knitting donations. Established in 1992, KOTN welcomes knitters and other fiber artists who are passionate about fostering a creative, fun, and active knitting community in Anchorage.

Join the Knitters of the North (KOTN)

We would love for you to join the Anchorage knitting guild, Knitters of the North.

Our 2026 Guild year runs January - December, but you can join us at any time.

With a KOTN membership you can:

  • Create, learn and have fun with fellow knitters and crafters in the Anchorage community.

  • Vote on Guild business and set the direction for the Anchorage knitting guild.

  • Be first in line (and receive a Guild discount) for classes and workshops.

  • Participate in community events and activities that spread the joy of knitting in Anchorage.
